We can intervene in different phases of the manufacturing process in order to obtain the sound you desire.
From the selection of materials to the choice of the processing techniques. From the reed construction to the final tuning on the bellows checked by ear.
From acoustic sound to amplification through technologies, either modern or vintage.
The artist has also the possibility to attend the manufacturing process, testing the results step by step, in a kind of “brain-arm” collaboration where the artisan turns into the artist’s expert arm, either on site or remotely, thanks to the recording studio situated next to the laboratory, where to record sound samples or entire tracks to listen to and compare.

We can realize any type of traditional tuning: for classical music, jazz and folk from different countries, either standard or customized, meeting specific requests in order to enhance particular sound components.
The attack: a fast one is essential to a fast execution, a slower one allows a more ‘intimate and blown’ sound.
The timbre: it primarily depends on the chosen materials, but it can be modified by lowering or raising the volume in any register to obtain a wide shade range of the same tone colour.
The dynamic response: it is fundamental in an instrument that “breaths” and can reproduce symphonic and orchestral dynamics.
As a result, customization is very high-quality, like the one of a perfectly fitting tailor-made dress: designed, custom-made and affordable, too.
The instrument ordinary maintenance requires tuning and revision of the parts subject to wear or sensitive to changes in temperature and weather at least once a year.
This allows the artist either to indicate how to restore the original sound or to modify it and adapt it to his needs. Thanks to the recording studio, it is possible to record the sound of the instrument both before and after treatment and then make a decision based on comparison.
